The City of Pittsfield is accepting bids for the Pittsfield Penstone Municipal Airport Property Farm Rental. The City of Pittsfield invites interested and qualified individuals or organizations to submit bids for the rental of approximately 184 acres of farmland located at the Pittsfield Penstone Airport property. Bid specifications, property description and photographs, and sample lease agreement may be picked up at City Hall, 215 North Monroe Street, Pittsfield, IL 62363. Interested parties are required to submit their bids by September 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Airport Property Farm Rental Bid”. The disc golf course on the East side of the lake will be closed today from approximately 4-6 this afternoon for the High School Cross County Meet If you are using the lake this afternoon please don't park on the running path. It starts near the disc golf parking lot and goes to the kayak launch the circles back to the starting area. Good luck to our Saukee runners.
