This area should remain clear to prevent potential fire hazards and to protect our agricultural resources. ✅ Ensure all materials brought to the burn pile are free of any non-organic materials, such as plastic, metal, or chemicals. The City of Pittsfield is accepting bids for the Pittsfield Penstone Municipal Airport Property Farm Rental. The City of Pittsfield invites interested and qualified individuals or organizations to submit bids for the rental of approximately 184 acres of farmland located at the Pittsfield Penstone Airport property. Bid specifications, property description and photographs, and sample lease agreement may be picked up at City Hall, 215 North Monroe Street, Pittsfield, IL 62363. Interested parties are required to submit their bids by September 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Airport Property Farm Rental Bid”. The City of Pittsfield reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or formalities, and to make awards as deemed in the best interest of the municipality.
