DATE: March 29, 2024
AFFECTED AREA: 500 block of East Washington St., East to East Side Health & Rehabilitation Center. This includes Washington Ct. Pringles St. and Liberty Ct. (see attached Map)
At about 10:00 AM on March 28, 2024, the City of Pittsfield water system in the affected area lost pressure due to a water main break repair. This caused the affected area to lose volume and fall below the 20 Psi threshold.
The BOIL ORDER will remain in effect until laboratory sampling confirms that water quality has been fully restored. You will receive notification at that time.
Bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for five minutes, and cool before using. Or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.
The city has a water main break along E Washington just West of the nursing home Customers in that area may experience low water pressure until repairs are completed. We have a crew on the way to make the needed repairs.
City Hall will be closed March 29, 2024.

Directions: From Hwy 54 - Turn East on 270th Avenue (Lake Pittsfield Road) travel approximately 1.5 miles, just past the bridge turn North through the red gate on the North (left) side of the road, and follow the gravel road which will end at the new dump site. Please back to the edge of the gravel and dump on the dirt. The map shows the exact location.
We will have brush pick up on March 25 and resume normal brush pick up on the first Monday of the month beginning in April.

There will be a contractor trimming trees on 250th ave near Conroy street Monday March 4th. This road may closed down during this work.

STREET CLOSURE
The Utilities Department will be working on a new water service installation in the area of N. Orchard St., between Spring and Oklahoma Streets.
North Orchard will be closed from Spring Street. To Oklahoma St., February 21st, from 8 AM until work is completed.
